I was recently diagnosed with HPV. My doctor did not tell me about any treatments for it. She just told me to wait 5 months to see if it went away. I cant sleep. i cry about it constantly. I have not told any of my family. How am I suppose to cope with having hpv?

Have you done research on it? It is not a big deal if you get the proper treatment and take care of yourself. Use the internet as a resource and do your research. This is not as bad as you might thing and it is wonderful that you caught it and can work on it now so it does not develp into anything else.

i have done tons of research on it. It still does not make me feel better. Im grateful it has not turrn into cancer, but i cant just wait around and pretend like i dont have this virus in my body.

i dont know. I just dont want to feel this way forever. I dont know if i can even have sex without spreading it

You are dealing with the emotions of being diagnosed with something not something that you are diagnosed with. It is understandable to be feeling the way that you are after getting shocking news and try to understand that you got news and you have to deal with it. Have you had to deal with troubling news before? How did you deal with that?
