hello, im 22 years old. My height is 5'1, and i weigh 184 LBS. I really want to loose weight. but i cant seem to motivate myself. I mean one day i will be like OK IM GOING TO EXERCISE TOMORROW , and eat healthy... then, the next day ill be sleeping or being to lazy to follow what i said what i was going to do. i really want to loose my weight cause i hate the way i look. and because i know its not healthy.
DIABETES run on both side of my parents... and i just found out from my doctor 2 weeks ago that im not so far from becoming one. I would try diet foods... but i have no money... i just recently lost my job. and i dont know how to cook. i live with my parents... and its my mom who usually cooks for me, but she is always working. so i dont know how to do this... or where to start. im like a little baby... i have no clue about anything.
i just want to feel pretty. i want to be able to fit in into my clothes. and etc.
me being fat ruined my relationship because i was always so insecure...i want to stop feeling that way. i want to be able to look at myself in the mirror without turning away...

not going to sugar coat this one. your relationship didn't fail because of your weight. you didn't wake up one day and become insecure so it will take some time to gain your confidence.
can't blame your mom nor lack of money. you have the time just need the right motivation. there are tons of exercises you can do at home as well as you can look online for them and ways to get started.
not sure what to even say about the eating and you not doing things for yourself. you are an adult now and need to decide how you want to live your life.
yes its hard to get motivated but that is something you will have to decide to do when you are ready. seems as if 2010 is a great time to focus on you! |

I agree with Jennifer. There's no sense feeling sorry for yourself. If you realize what you're doing is wrong and you're intelligent enough to type it out, you can TOTALLY motivate yourself into working out. Eating right doesn't require a ton of money and it costs nothing to move. Taking little steps can really help you to progressively taking LARGER risks. Just do it! _________________ Let me tell ya about healthy trim. . . it WORKS! You WILL lose weight. |
