Well first things first, START EATING again. Is there a medical reason that the weight loss is not happening? Tell me what you have tried in the past? With every diet fad there is a new one that comes on to the horizon. The only true and blue tried diet is exercise and portion control, six small meals a day. I am glad that you are reaching out for help and we will get through this. Very Happy

thank you i eat 4 small meals and skip breakfast because i feel too nausiated to eat in the morning. i have tried adkins diet, low cal diets, diet pills, and i am aboutt o get the lapband surgery now. i don't know if i have something stopping me from losing weight , except for my diabeties? Crying or Very sad i just wish i could be at a healthy weight again, so i won't be so sick anymore. i know i haven't lost the weight since i have had my twin daughters though, and for 4 years i was in a severe abusive relationship.

Mood has just as much to do with it as what you eat. What do you eat? I know that in these times, it is expensive to eat healthy, how do you do with that? What does your doctor say about the weight and the health problems?

The new rule is 30 minutes a day, the way to do it is always try to park far away from the store and carry your groceries if you can. Are you able to walk more? Tell me about your kids?

Go for the lapband! Well, I'm not a doctor, but I've seen a few people having great results with it. But one thing to keep in mind... you CAN cheat with it. Don't drink ANY liquids at your meal. Liquids help the food to pass the stomach and move into the intestines, leaving more room in the stomach. Just eat your meal and then, I think they say about 30-60 min later, then hydrate.

Do you drink alcohol? This is a great article about alcohol and dieting: http://www.thefactsaboutfitness.com/research/alcohol.htm. If you like that article, tell Jennifer and I bet she'd put it in the Weight Loss Articles on this site, check out her other articles, she's a real good author with a LOT of articles she's written. I don't know how she has the time. In fact, if you are stressed, she has this article: http://www.completecounselingsolutions.com/articles/59/Does-stress-affect-weight-loss?.

Back to alcohol, it is bad because it converts to acetate which the body easily burns, but since it's so easy to burn, it doesnt need to burn the carbs or fat. So, you dont lose weight.

Good luck with the dieting!
