how do I know what to do?

It's been almost a month since the breakup with my ex. I've done my best to continue to live my life, evaluate the situation and rationalize what my needs and wats were and what was and wasn't met during the course of the relationship.

I was starting to feel like the wounds were starting to heal a bit, and then today he tells me he "wants to talk". I want to hear what he has to say, but I don't know what the purpose is. I love him; but if things aren't right I don't want to go back just to go through this again. How can you gauge sincerity?

I should probably remind you that he shows 7 of 9 traits of Borderline Personality Disorder, is Transgender, and... I dunno.. everything else.

Is this just another ride?
