I don't know if this can even be asked here but I will give it a try, I 39 and for the past several years I have been helping to care for my chronically ill mother. She is a dialysis patient she also has a heart condition and sometimes she is not all that coherent she can't always focus on what you are saying any way, she was recently admitted into the hospital from the nursing home she is in she in a wheelchair and she can't walk without the assitance of a walker but because she is so weak she has a lot of problems getting around.
such as moving from the bedroom to the bathroom normally her being in the hospital is something I handle just fine but this time has been really difficult the doctors have advised us that should she have another heart attack that we should just let her go that was very hard for me to delal with
as old as I am and I don't want to sound like I am whiny or clingy it just I don't know how to get rid of the constan tbad feelings I have. My family really doesn't make feel all that much better.

Why do you think that caring about your mom is consired winey or clingy? Who's to say how you should be dealing with this? It is extremely hard to watch someone you love get weaker and weaker.
Besides your family, do you have a support system? People to talk to about this? |
