Are you communicating with your husband while he is away? Parenting alone can be tough and it always seems easier when you have a good support system in place. Do you have any friend or relatives that you can rely on until your husband returns from his trip? Are the kids talking to your husband while he is away? Good job trying to manage everything yourself, but it is okay to ask for help.

kids are good at pushing buttons, and maybe picking up on your anxiety too at having to handle the kids on your own. How old are they? How many? Sometimes separating them; Giving one mommy time with you and giving the other(s) a distraction can help. how about a play date? Sometimes putting them in a different environment can diffuse whatevers going on. hang in there. they grow up eventually... Smile

I HAVE TAKEN YOUR ADVICE AND TRIED TO BE CALM AROUND MY CHILDREN OF 9, 7 AND 4 YEAR OLDS. IT SEEMS TO HELP IF WE DO THINGS "TOGETHER". MAYBE THEY THINK IT IS MORE OF "FAMILY" ACTIVITY. ANOTHER 2 WEEKS ALONE WITH THEM AND WOULD APPREICIATE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS.
