I'm a little concerned. My 6 year old daughter seems to only respond to me when I raise my voice. When I dont yell, she doesnt listen. How can I get out of this mode? I dont want to yell.

Well the good news is that your daughter is 6 years and that you have time to change this behavior. It is your behavior, so you need to start by changing how you talk to your daughter. How about making sure that you are calm when you want her to do something and come up with a compromise system so both of you can get what you want.
