I'm very curious as to what sort of medications are out there to treat depression. Is there a certain kind for different levels/ intensities? What are some of the more popular ones? Thanks!

Good news and bad news. The good news is that I know of plenty medications can really be helpful for anxiety and depression. The bad news is that you and I have to take them because we're anxious and depressed (oh bother...).
Anyway, I'm currently taking Zoloft (50mg), but my OCD and depression, but I have taken other pretty decent medications in the past. Paxil, celexa and prozac are all good medications to take. Of course, I recommend talking your psychiatrist (AND general practitioner) before taking ANY of these medications. I didn't seek out the advice of my regular doctor, took wellbutrin and it didn't end well. I ended up in the hospital, so be SO careful.
