| I was rejected by my parents for being gay 15 years ago. As time goes by it hurts me more instead of less. I frequently have sex with strangers to feel loved and wanted...sometimes people I am not even attracted to. Is there a way to break this unhealthy cycle? |

| you need to find a way to break free from your parents approval and live your own life. you are making your own choices and you are choosing this behavior. |

| It feels like something that I cannot control. That feeling of being desired/wanted is so strong. |

in your head, you are a grown adult now and do not need your parents or anyone's approval. Doing risky behaviors is not going to prove anything to anybody except get you into your trouble.
Do you have a support system? People in your life that you consider close friends? That is sometimes what people use as family when they don't have a good relationship with their own. |
