In my area, nearly 70-75% of kids in grades 2-12 are on Ritalin or other ADD meds. Statistics from the school board it self. But I just can't believe that that many actually need the medicine. From my own experience in school, every kid that was hyper or diddent pay attention well. Got put on meds. Kids are kids, they all can not be perfect. But I'm not generalizing every body. I do understand that there are kids who really need it. Just not as many as are one it.
