Although I think this post is not very relevant to the topic, I feel that the situation is kind of interlinked.
I have idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Currently my condition is getting worse and my neurologist suggested to me that I should be admitted into the hospital for treatment.
However, my neurologist is in the private sector, in which my state does not provide much subsidies and I come from a lower middle class family, thus not being able to afford the hospitalization fees.
There is no one in the govt sector that is able to manage my condition at the moment.
To add onto the stress, it is my final year in school and I am supposed to finish up my internship and final year project.
What should I do? |

| can your family afford treatment for you? you can always go back to school or take a leave of absense if need be to get your health in order. are you asking what you should do, stay in school or take care of your health? there is no question that you should take care of your health. |

My family cannot afford treatment in the private hospital. I have one semester of school left before I graduate, and it is unlikely I can defer because my modules are different from my juniors who are studying the same course.
The school has apparently changed the modules. So if I were to defer school, I might need to repeat 2 semesters.
I feel depressed and helpless over my medical condition. |
