Hi Jennifer,
My husband and I are starting to get along much better, however I am still not able to keep a positive attitude. I have doubled the St. John's Wort I am taking to 2 a day to stay in a shall I say neutral mood. What can I do drastically bring my self esteem up. I know it all stems from that. I have tried meditating to relax and although it does help it is not a constant thing I can do all the time. I am able to do it once a week and I have to go to my Sister's house to do it. I am honestly ready to spend money I really do not have and go for some intense Hypnotherapy. Again I know it is not the answer, I just need to find something I can go to bring up my self esteem.

Well is it self esteem or depression? Sounds like you might need some good old fashion therapy. The more you do for yourself, the better you feel. Setting goals and following through on them is one way to feel better. Starting an exercise routine which we already talked about, getting involved in volunteering and such, anything to get the ebdorphines moving again.

Why hypnotherapy? Have you heard of riki therapy? It is very rewarding and relaxing.

I want to say the depression stems from the Self esteem issues..........
I have done Reiki treatments in the past and yes they help for a short period but I need something more permanent.......

You are the equation that will make anything that you do more permanent. Sometimes, an refresher course in what you believe in, who you are and some motivation can help you. One of our therapists Laura is into riki and hypnotherapy. She uses a spirtual guide to help her clients http://www.completecounselingsolutions.com/aboutus.php, check out her profile
