I am unemployed due to disabilities ( foot fracture, chronic neck & back pain
from cervical herniated disks), have no support system, in debt cuz of medical&
credit card bills that I utilized to support myself for more than a year now,
almost homeless, have been denied of social security disability benefits, but i
AM in the process of re-applying, but no one can take me to the office to finish
my application process now that I have a fractured foot and cannot drive. I feel
so hopeless and no one including my family members are able to help me to get
by. I don't know what to do any more. my creditors have been after me cuz I
can't make payments due to unemployment. I would never harm anyone, but there
are times when i feel like I just want to end my life due to all the miseries I
am in. I need guidance and help to get back on my feet despite these
disabilities that I have. I was once in management position for several years
until the disabilities started to get in the way with my then career in the
financial institution as operations manager and internal auditor. Now I could
barely concentrate on doing simple tasks..have asked my family for help, but
they all closed their doors on me except for my sister, but she has a family to
support and is struggling financially as well to support her family. She rarely
has the time tfor herself cuz her kids, and work take mall of her time. Even if
she wanted to, she could not find any time or money to help me. Please advice

Hey
You are going to have to find a way to get yourself to your appts. They have free services in your area if you look. Have you tried a church based service or whatever religion you are? I know you cannot bare weight on your foot, but i assume you have crutches? How about the bus? As much as you would like others to fix your problems, you are the only one that can.

When you get depressed, you need to rethink your goals and remember that each small step is an accomplishment. I mean waking up and brushing your teeth. I know your sister cannot help you because of her situation, but can you live with her for a short time?

I am trying to find a bus that is closer to the residence that I am staying in at the moment. The closest one is about a couple of miles away and with my chronic pain cuz of my cervical herniated disks, it is challenging to walk and use my crutches for that distance. I tried a few times, but I always end up sitting on the road to rest and hop my way back so I could take the pain medications when the neck & back pain strikes. I cannot wait for the cast to be taken off so I can at least drive. I have not found a church in the area ever since I moved back in the area last year and I am a Christian. I watch Joyce Meyer when I can and read the bible when I am not on pain medication. As far as the ADHD result that I got from the test, I chose to take the test after I read the symptoms of what anyone with ADHD may have. I feel like all the ADHD symptoms seem to have started to be consistent in the past few years when I was diagnosed with cervical herniated disks. The same time that I have started taking the pain medications to contain the chronic neck and back pain because of the disks problem. I thought it would be temporary, but even when I am not on medication, the ADHD symptoms seem to have been existent on a daily basis. I wouldn't have known had I not taken that test I found on the link I found on this site. Thank you for your help. I appreciate all your suggestions. It helps. I am not used to ask for help as I have always been the one providing help until recently when I liquidated all of my assets and could not even provide for myself at all..plus now this cast just added more. I just had my breast biopsy done this past June and now I'm up for a follow-up on the other growth found then. One abnormal pre-cancerous cell was found. Then this past September, I had a small part of my cervix removed because of pre-cancerous cell as well. Now, I am just nervous to undergo another CT scan for my breast to see how the other 2 abnormal growth will turn out to be. It's like when it rains, it pours. I want to get back on my own feet again. Most importantly, I need prayers cuz I had my very low days where I am just ready to give up, but on other days, i try my best to stay as optimistic as I can. That's why I finally reached out for help. Had I not have a cast on my leg, i would probably still trying to do things on my own like I have always been accustomed, too ever since i was 13. I raised my sister and I ever since I was 13. My mother left us when I was 8 yrs old. My dad was never around. Neither one of my parents didn't think they did anything wrong. I feel like my fear to reach out, until now was a result of an abandonment issue ever since I was 8. Could that be one reason why i am the way I am? I have a problem asking for hep.If I do, I feel so condemned and always do more than I need to repay the person that may have helped me, which i this case is my current landlord. please advice

Alot of people have a fear of asking for help and it mostly results from either being rejected or being too proud, either way it takes a bigger person to ask for help than to try to do it alone because asking for help is tough, not many people enjoy the feeling of being dependent and if you start to enjoy the feeling that is a whole different story.

When I was talking about church, I was talking about finding a support network for you. Heck even AA groups have a good support network. Do you have a mental health association in your area? They might be able to help as well. Very Happy

Glad that you are able to go outside of your comfort zone.
