does she deserve the benefit of the doubt? she might be sick and I doubt it has anything to do with you, more something going on with her.

As far as your feelings, that is going to take time, you have been using to cope with your feelings for a long time so when something uncomfortable comes up, you don't know how to respond because you never learned. that happens when you start using when you are young in your teens.

i'm sure court coming up is scary and not being able to trust your therapist is also scary but you will learn how to deal with them just like you have learned how to deal with everything else, with time.
