Hey!
How are you?
Long time.
Well ive recently been diagnosed with obsessive complusive patterns. Well have lived with them for many years and didnt realise they existed. Well i want to know whether there is any treatment for it. My shrink said awareness will help and it doesnt. Cant seek constant counseling due to time constraint. And a few sessions didnt help much either. Im going through obsessive lying as well and do that effeciently. Im wasting my life without repentance. The risk of wasting life gives me a thrill. Ive got engaged as well and all i do mostly is lie to my fiancee which highly unhealthy. The obsessive complusive patterns are varied and many. And i really dont see myself getting out of it or is there any solution for it. I keep on lying and lying. And running away from situations.
Hope you get back soon.
Regards,
Reenaa |

hey
congrats on getting engaged. counseling is your best option for your situation. i know you say you don't have the time, but you could do email therapy with one of our counselors and see if that would work for you. |

Whats the solution for obsessive compulsive patterns? Do u really think therapy will work? Words, theories dont help.
I dont have cash on me to spend on email therapy unless its free. |

| can't answer that one for you in this forum it is to complex of a situation, yes therapy costs money but it sounds as if you really need to find a good therapist and get these issues resolved once and for all. it seems that everytime you come on here another doctor has diagnoses you with something else, therapy will help you sort through all of that. |

| Wht kind of therapy do u suggest? Plan to go every week once to the same one so a consistent effort shld be helpful and can track progress. Not happy the earlier times since the therapist doesnt thnk i need continues therapy. |

Hi! Hows u?
The effect of counceling lasted for 5 days which is gud n comparitively the longest but effect gone. Back 2 square one. I cant grasp/hold what was told in the session and its all floated. Cant suicide be a solution to all these problems? |

| you need to talk to your counselor about all of this, suicide is not something that is appropriate for this forum. if you feel that way then you need to seek help immediately. |

| no you should not be dependent on your counselor but you should discuss such things with your counselor and work out a solution. |
